Cherokee County Sheriff Transition
Chief Deputy Justin Jacobs has officially assumed leadership of the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office following the resignation of the previous sheriff. The local Republican Executive Committee is currently in the process of identifying a recommendation for a permanent successor to present to the Board of Commissioners within the next month.
