Cherokee County 2028 reappraisal field visits underway

Appraisal staff from Vincent Valuation Company are already working their way through Cherokee County neighborhoods. They measure structures, take exterior photos, and update property records for the full county reappraisal that takes effect January 1, 2028. Teams wear safety vests, carry name badges, and drive vehicles with clear signs. They will not enter homes but may knock with a few quick questions. Property owners should have records ready so the final numbers stay fair.
