Quick Brown Fox on the Hayesville Square Tonight
Food and beverage service starts at 6 p.m. Music begins at 7 p.m. on the historic Hayesville Square. The Clay County Communities Revitalization Association free summer concert series continues. Bring a lawn chair. Red bucket donations support the work.

Ridge Jam Opens in Blue Ridge
The third annual Ridge Jam bluegrass festival runs today and Saturday at the old farmers market pavilion, 787 Summit Street in Blue Ridge. Music starts around noon Friday. Headliners include Junior Sisk and The Grascals. One-day tickets are $30 Friday, $40 Saturday, or $60 for both days. Children 12 and under free. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital fundraiser. Bring a chair. No coolers or pets.

Teddy Bear Clinic This Afternoon in Cherokee
EBCI Tribal Option celebrates five years with a free family Teddy Bear Clinic today from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Welch Top Conference Room at Cherokee Indian Hospital Authority. Children guide their teddy bears through registration, triage, lab, and radiology, then graduate as Teddy Bear Doctors. Care managers available, complimentary blood pressure screenings, and anniversary gifts while supplies last.

National Night Out August 4 in Peachtree
Cherokee County’s third annual National Night Out takes place Tuesday, August 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Tri-County Community College in Peachtree. Meet local law enforcement, fire, EMS, and other first responders. Demonstrations and community vendors expected.
